เธอได้รับคำยกย่องนักวิจารณ์ระดับโลก Scott Yanow ว่าเป็นหนึ่งใน 500 นักร้องเพลงแจ๊สที่ดีที่สุดในโลกในหนังสือ The 500 Jazz Singers มีผลงานที่ออกวางจำหน่ายในญี่ปุ่นจนสร้างชื่อเสียงให้กับเธออย่างมากนับตั้งแต่เธอมีอายุเพียง 22 ปี เธอสำเร็จ Master Degree ในสาขา Jazz Vocal จาก University of Graz ในออสเตรีย

และยังได้เรียน Private Lesson กับปรมาจารย์การร้องเพลงแจ๊สเช่น Mark Murphy และ Sheila Jordan ที่ได้สร้างพลังใจและให้โอกาสเธอในการเรียนและร้องในสหรัฐอเมริกา และรวมถึง Jay Clayton, Michele Hendricks (ลูกสาวของ Jon Hendricks) จนถึงขนาดที่นักวิจารณ์และโปรดิวเซอร์มือทองวงการแจ๊สอย่าง Todd Barkan ก็ได้เชิญชวนเธอให้ออกผลงานในสหรัฐอเมริกาในปี 2005 จนสร้างชื่อเสียงให้เธอในหมู่แวดวงนักฟังทั้งในนิวยอร์คและทั่วสหรัฐอเมริกา

ก่อนหน้านี้เธอได้ออกผลงานในบ้านเราจากชุด Didn’t You Say ที่นำบทเพลงที่โด่งดังทั้งในอดีตและปัจจุบันจากการขับร้องของ Alison Kraus, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald เช่น Ghost in this House, Come Fly with Me, Baubles Bangles and Beads, S’Wonderful, Tennessee Waltz etc และจนมาถึงอัลบั้มล่าสุดนี้ Nothing’s Gonna Change ที่จุดกำเนิดเกิดจากการที่ค่ายเพลง Hitman Jazz มีความปรารถนาที่คัดเลือกและนำเสนอบทเพลงที่เป็นที่ชื่นชอบของแฟนเพลงชาวไทยเท่านั้นเช่น Nothing’s Gonna Change, How Do I Live, Imagine, Can’t Take My Eyes off You, Top of the World, I’ll Have to Say I Love You, We’re Are All Alone และกว่า 14 บทเพลง

After finishing in Master Degree in Jazz Vocal at the University of Graz, Simone Kopmajer, the wonderful and charming jazz singer from Austria has been recognized among jazz critics and fans alike worldwide with many successful albums in Japan and US. One of these was the collaboration on one particular project in 2005 with Todd Barkan, the renowned producer for Milestone and Fantasy records, after hearing Simone’s stunning voice from her Japan release. She had attended the private vocal lessons with Sheila Jordan, Mark Murphy, Jay Clayton and Michele Hendricks while moving to NY for further study and live performance there.

This year seems to be her bright and shining period when she has just released a new CD “Nothings’ Gonna Change” with Hitman Jazz Records (www.hitmanjazz.com / www.facebook.com/hitmanjazz) and got warm welcoming from her fans in Thailand. The album was specially recorded for Thailand market from investment and song-selections by Hitman Jazz Records. The musicians in the album are top-notch artists both from the States and Europe, John Di Martino the co-producer, pianist from the Romantic Jazz Trio (NY), the former bassist in Ornette Coleman band, Jamaaladeen Tacuma and multi-reedist Wolfgang Puschnig from the Vienna Art Orchestra. All repertoire from 70’s and recent hits were re-arranged in such heartfelt and intimate style-----soft and tender, for example, Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love For You, Can’t Take My Eyes off You, I’ll Have to Say I Love You, Top of the World, When You Say Nothing at All, Imagine etc.
